At your school, you may be able to create and return a pass without the teacher needing to accept it as a pass request. For this to work, you need to be allowed to create your own passes, and your teacher needs to allow students to create their own passes in their class.
If this is an option for you, follow the same steps you would to request a pass. Select My Pass from the menu. On the My Pass page, select the teacher whose class you’re in from the dropdown. Then, select the location where you want to go and click Save.
Once you click save, the pass timer will start. You will see it turn green and see the timer running. In some cases, it might still be marked as pending. Why? See below.

I have permission to create my own passes, but it’s still marked pending.
If this happens, it could be that the teacher has decided they’re not allowing students to create passes.
Or, there are some pass restrictions. For example, if the location you are requesting is fully booked or there is a student out with a pass that you can’t be in the halls with, your pass will need to be approved by your teacher first, or they can put you in the queue.
