Competency-Based Education

Competency-Based Education (CBE) refers to a system that supports demonstrated student mastery over seat time. This changes how learning is structured at a school, as well as how students are assessed. Competency-Based Education can also be referred to as Proficiency-Based Education, or Outcome-Based Education, although these may have some differences.
